Laine Magazine No. 15 - Road Trip
Laine Magazine is back with a whole new look for the autumn!
Laine is taking a step in a more modern and dynamic direction, celebrating knitting and the world of fibre in a fresh, new way. Together with this new look, the content has also been re-designed, with several new regular features such as Jeannette Sloan Talks Fibre and Where I Knit. And of course some things have not changed - you will still find the gorgeous knitting patterns and high-quality photography that we have come to expect.
In this issue, Laine is going on a road trip. Along the way you will find:
- 12 original knitting patterns by Jenny Ansah, Jennifer Brou, Weichien Chan (the Petite Knitter), Stepanka Drchalova, Meiju K-P, Bernice Lim (Yamagara), Hanna Maciejewska, Terri Maue, Olga Putano, Florence Spurling and Yigitcan Vatansever, including 6 sweaters, 2 cardigans, 2 shawls, 1 hat and 1 pair of socks.
- an interview with the designer Lindsey on post-partum depression and how knitting offered her an identity outside of motherhood
- an article about how sheep are helping to save threatened biotopes
- new regular features Jeannette Sloan Talks Fibre, Five Ways by Paiva Kankaro and Where I Knit
- seasonal recipes
- book reviews
