€24.00 €24.00

Laine Magazine is back with a whole new look for the autumn!

Laine is taking a step in a more modern and dynamic direction, celebrating knitting and the world of fibre in a fresh, new way.  Together with this new look, the content has also been re-designed, with several new regular features such as Jeannette Sloan Talks Fibre and Where I Knit.  And of course some things have not changed - you will still find the gorgeous knitting patterns and high-quality photography that we have come to expect.

In this issue, Laine is going on a road trip.  Along the way you will find:

  • 12 original knitting patterns by Jenny Ansah, Jennifer Brou, Weichien Chan (the Petite Knitter), Stepanka Drchalova, Meiju K-P, Bernice Lim (Yamagara), Hanna Maciejewska, Terri Maue, Olga Putano, Florence Spurling and Yigitcan Vatansever, including 6 sweaters, 2 cardigans, 2 shawls, 1 hat and 1 pair of socks.
  • an interview with the designer Lindsey on post-partum depression and how knitting offered her an identity outside of motherhood
  • an article about how sheep are helping to save threatened biotopes
  • new regular features Jeannette Sloan Talks Fibre, Five Ways by Paiva Kankaro and Where I Knit
  • seasonal recipes
  • book reviews

Laine is a high-quality Nordic knit & lifestyle magazine for knit folks. Laine cherishes natural fibres, slow living, local craftsmanship, and beautiful, simple things in life. The intention is to inspire you to gather and share, to be part of a community of like-minded knitters, makers and thinkers from near and far. Knitting is more than just knit, knit, purl. It is a feeling.

Laine includes patterns from the leading knitwear designers, insightful, long-format stories from the world of wool, interviews, seasonal recipes and strong, visual storytelling.
