The Fugli sweater is a children’s colour work sweater with an easy to knit 3-colour design based on classic Norwegian knitting motifs.  The sweater has a relaxed shape, a round neck and edging in 1x1 rib.  Fugli is worked seamlessly from the top down.  First, stitches are cast on for the neck and worked in the round in 1x1 rib.  The neckline is shaped using short rows, then the yoke is worked with raglan increases.  Stitches for the sleeves are put on hold and the body is knitted.  Finally, the sleeves are knitted separately and finished with a 1x1 rib cuff.
