€24.90

ATTN: Book available in English only

Norwegian designer Linka Neumann presents her second book of knitting patterns.  Previously only available in Norwegian, it has now been translated into English and published in July 2025. Her first book in the Wilderness Knits series, first published in 2019, was an international bestseller, and this book expands the theme with another 23 patterns for outdoor wear.

The outdoors has always been a big part of Linka Neumann's life and she is dedicated to knitting sweaters that are not only beautiful, but can withstand the hardest weather. Her sweaters have been worn by adventurers in Canada, the Arctic and even on treks to Mount Everest, and in this book she shares new patterns for thick and comfortable sweaters, mittens and hats for both adults and children who like to be outside in all kinds of weather.

Linka takes her inspiration from indigenous peoples as well as the landscapes and fauna of her native Norway. These 23 timeless designs feature polar bears, wolves, Hopi dreamcatchers, falling snow and of course Linka's beloved husky sled dogs. Multiple colourways are shown for each design to help you make your own choices.

Knitted with Norwegian and Icelandic wool to repel water and cold, this is the ultimate knitting book for outdoor adventurers. Most patterns are knitted with yarns from Hillesvåg Ullvarefabrikk.
