Sol is a DK weight lambswool spun exclusively from the finest 28 micron lambswool fleece (28 microns), from a mix of Norwegian breeds such as Dala and Ryggja. Laine des Iles stocks a range of 8 natural, undyed shades, as well as a range of over 20 dyed shades, which also combine well with Hillesvåg's Tinde range. This option is also useful for is useful for colourwork, as there is no white in the Tinde range. Sol can of course also be used alone for classic projects, it is perfect for textured knits.
