New for Spring 2025, Solstice is the latest yarn from West Yorkshire Spinners, and the perfect yarn for the changing seasons. Solstice is a mixture of three different fibres, blended to create a light, soft and luxurious yarn. Falkland wool is a mix of several different breeds raised on the Falkland islands, mostly merino crossbreeds. The pristine conditions on the islands guarantee a clean white fleece of superior softness. Lyocell is produced from wood pulp harvested from sustainably managed forests, and finally responsibly-sourced cashmere adds a touch of luxury. Together, these three fibres create a yarn which will be perfect not only for all your Spring projects, but all year round for silky soft and elegant shawls and accessories.
