Beloved Patterns is a bi-annual Finnish knitting magazine, published by A-lehdet, well-known in Finland for its range of high-quality lifestyle publications. Beloved Patterns magazine is now in its 3rd year, but is now being distributed by Laine Publishing to bring it to a wider audience. It is aimed at the discerning knitting enthusiast who appreciates high-quality design, and each issue draws its inspiration from an iconic Nordic brand or designer.
The January 2025 issue draws its inspiration from the Finnish design brand Vuokko, known for its timeless and graphic minimalistic clothing. Vuokko's distinctive stripes and beloved patterns, along with new designs, are reinterpreted as beautifully crafted knitwear designs. The magazine contains 20 original and previously unpublished patterns by well-known designers and emerging talents from Finland and around the world. There is something to suit everyone, with the difficulty level ranging from beginner to intermediate.
After the initial introduction, there are no additional articles or interviews, no advertising - just 20 beautiful patterns illustrated with top-quality photographs, and at a very reasonable price.
